General Agricultural Competition 2019: 3 medals for Charculor!

The Paris International Agricultural Show  will take place from February 23rd to March 3rd.

As part of this show is organized the General Agricultural Competition, created in 1870, which aims to select and recognise France’s best regional products

THE COMPETITION

The products are submitted to a panel (made up of professionals from the sector, producers, members of the food and wine trades, merchants, distributors and knowledgeable consumers) with a high expertise. The products are awarded on the basis of sensory characteristics and taste. The competition is organized under the control of the State to guarantee its impartiality.

THE MEDALS

Engaged in the product contest, Charculor was awarded with three medals this year:

  • a gold medal for his linked beechwood smoked boiled sausage 
  • a silver medal for his beechwood smoked superior Moselle’s knack
  • a silver  medal for his pig’s head terrine

Since its first participation in 2013, the General Agricultural Competition has awarded Charculor 16 times (in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019).
